Arrival and Departure
As a general rule, cottages are available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival until 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
For camping pitches, check-in is from 1:00 PM and check-out is by 12:00 PM. An additional daily fee will be charged for departures after 12:00 PM.
In the event of circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to relocate you to equivalent accommodation.
At the end of your booked period, we cannot guarantee that your pitch or accommodation will remain available or that your stay can be extended. If you wish to stay longer and availability permits, you may be required to move to another pitch.
When Is My Booking Binding?
Both you and Läckö Strand are bound by the booking once we have confirmed it and you have paid the deposit (where applicable), or, in all other cases, paid the full rental amount.
When Must I Pay?
All bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed with the facility.
What Happens If I Do Not Pay on Time?
If a deposit is required and is not paid by the due date, we will cancel your booking without further notice.
If the final payment is not received on time, this will be regarded as a cancellation by you, and the cancellation policy will apply.
If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible.
Cancellation and Rebooking
When making a booking, you may purchase Cancellation Protection for SEK 300 per cottage.
The Cancellation Protection is valid until the day before arrival and requires valid documentation, such as a certificate from a doctor, government authority, or insurance company, confirming that you are unable to travel.
If the cancellation is approved, all amounts paid will be refunded except for the cost of the Cancellation Protection. The supporting documentation must be received by us no later than 30 days after the cancellation date.
If Cancellation Protection has not been purchased, or valid documentation cannot be provided, refunds will be made according to the following terms:
- Cancellation no later than 30 days before arrival: 80% of the amount paid will be refunded.
- Cancellation later than 30 days but no later than 15 days before arrival: 50% of the amount paid will be refunded.
- Cancellation less than 15 days before arrival: No refund of accommodation costs will be made.
Rebooking
Rebooking to another date within the same calendar year may be made up to 30 days before arrival.
After this date, rebooking is not possible, and the cancellation policy above will apply instead.
Any discounts applied to the original booking will not be transferred to the new booking.
What Are My Rights?
If we fail to provide the cottage or camping pitch in the condition promised or at the agreed time, and we cannot offer equivalent accommodation, you have the right to terminate the agreement.
In such cases, we will refund all amounts you have paid to us.
Instead of terminating the agreement, you may request a reduction in the rental fee. Please contact the reception immediately for further information.
Any faults or deficiencies that arise during your stay must be reported to reception immediately so that we have the opportunity to remedy them. No compensation will be granted afterwards if we have not been informed during your stay.
What Are My Responsibilities?
You are responsible for reviewing your booking confirmation/invoice and ensuring that the dates and accommodation details are correct.
You must take good care of the cottage or camping pitch and comply with all applicable rules and regulations.
You are liable for any damage caused to the cottage, its furnishings, or the camping pitch through negligence by you or anyone in your party.
You are also responsible for ensuring that everyone staying at or visiting your pitch or cottage complies with the campsite’s rules regarding noise, conduct, and other regulations.
If you or anyone in your party violates our rules, we reserve the right to remove you from the premises. No refund will be issued, and you remain liable for payment for the entire booked period.
You may not use the cottage or camping pitch for purposes other than those agreed upon at the time of booking. Nor may more people stay overnight than were stated when the booking was made.
You must clean the cottage according to the provided instructions. If cleaning is not carried out satisfactorily, cleaning services will be charged to you.
Natural Disasters, War, Strikes, etc.
Both you and Läckö Strand have the right to withdraw from the rental agreement if the cottage or camping pitch cannot be provided due to natural disasters, acts of war, labor disputes, prolonged interruptions in water or energy supply, fire, or similar events that neither party could reasonably foresee or influence.
In such cases, we will refund amounts paid, less any benefit you may already have received from the accommodation or pitch.
What Happens If We Cannot Reach an Agreement?
Please contact reception immediately with any complaints.
To process your complaint, you must complete a complaint form available at reception.
If we are unable to reach an agreement, you may refer the matter to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
